Jersie

Meet Jersie Smith,
                            your 2026 America’s International Teen!

Born and raised in Kentucky, Jersie is a girl of strong faith, a kind heart, big dreams, and an even bigger purpose. She stays busy as both a competitive and varsity cheerleader, plays volleyball, loves to travel, collects baseball cards, and is a proud Atlanta Braves fan. And if there’s a Dr Pepper and pepperoni pizza nearby, even better!

Jersie has big plans for her future and dreams of becoming an anesthesiologist. She is also passionate about raising awareness for Hashimoto’s and using her own experiences to encourage others. As a children’s book author, Jersie shares uplifting stories designed to inspire young readers and remind them to “Let Your Light Shine.”

Her faith is at the center of everything she does, and Jersie strives to be a leader and encourager who helps others recognize the light within themselves. During her year as America’s International Teen, she’s excited to advocate, serve, and continue sharing that light while living out Love • Lead • Serve.
